Pole fitness is in no way new but is gaining more and more popularity as more people realise that it is an amazing sport for toning the whole body and working out in a totally different and fun way. Beginners pole fitness class can burn over 400 calories and hour while advanced classes can burn over 700! On top of this all the moves and transitions tone your whole body, so strength and cardio combined!

Pole fitness is for BOTH men and women of any age and size. Plus there’s so many different styles including exotic, sensual, art, strength, power, gymnastic, acrobatic, (the list goes on!) so there’s a style to suit everyone and so you’ll always feel comfortable.

One of the biggest thing people take away from pole fitness is confidence to be themselves in pole classes regardless of their style. The pole community is huge and one of the most supportive groups that you’ll find in any sport, so you’ll be guaranteed to find friends for life.

Tutor Bio Emily has been an xpole qualified pole fitness instructor for 3 years now. She recently started competing and came first in doubles for Lincolnshire pole championships 2017 with her doubles partner. She has taught a wide range of abilities and students and is more than capable of tailoring moves and teaching to the individual. She loves the many different styles of pole dance and incorporates them all into her classes to make them as fun as possible. Finally, she is also a spin city qualified stretch and flexibility instructor and is currently studying a yoga course to expand her range.
