Sevillanas are a type of folk music and dance of Sevilla and its region. They were derived from the Seguidilla.
Sevillanas can be heard mainly in fairs and festivals, including the famous Seville Fair, Feria de abril de Sevilla.
Sevillanas are danced by couples of all ages and sexes during celebrations (fiestas or ferias), often by whole families and towns.

Barbara is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher. Dedicated to students of all ages, she is characterized by elegance and neatness in execution, and the use of elements like the castanets, the shawl, fan. Her teaching style that is technical and specific, she strives to give every student the best personal educational experience possible “Your success is my dream”.
