JACQUI’S MILLION

This year’s show profits will be going to a wonderful local cancer charity, Jacqui’s Million. Jacqui is a dancer and choreographer who discovered she had cancer in 2009 after discovering a lump in the same place she had a mole removed in 1993. After multiple operations and discovering the Melanoma had spread to her lungs, oral chemotherapy kept it at bay for two years, however in 2015 the tumour had escalated to an extent that meant more surgery and her right lung being removed. Life expectancy for those with Jacquis condition is often just 1 year, however 13 years later Jacqui is still with us and raising awareness, positivity and also much needed funds for “Jimmy’s”, Leeds Cancer Centre with Jacqui‘s Million. Her goal and legacy is to raise £1 million for The Bexley Wing, which we would love to help her towards, especially through the power of dance, a passion we all share! FUNDRAISING

To fundraise as much money as possible for Jacqui’s Million, all profits from the day will be going to the charity. This will include ticket sales, snacks sold on the day, plus raffle tickets, which we are currently collecting prizes for. If you or someone you know has a small business that would be able to donate vouchers, or small gifts for us to create some hampers with, any donations would be much appreciated. Please get in touch to make a donation.

This year we are also planning a fundraising day on Saturday the 9th November, taking place between 1-3:30pm, featuring 2 super fun workshops, plus a bake sale and a head start at purchasing your raffle tickets! Workshop include:

Both classes will be open level suitable for all, and you have the option to book one or both classes. So what are you waiting for, put the date in your diaries and get booking your classes now, for a fun fundraising afternoon!
