Adult Break Dance Course (DSL)
This 6-week adult beginner-friendly Break Dance course is all about building confidence, having fun, and learning the foundations of this iconic street dance style in a supportive, no-pressure environment. Expect a welcoming atmosphere, plenty of encouragement and good vibes.
Week 1 – Introduction to Breaking and its elements: Build a solid foundation as you explore the core elements of Breaking and get a feel for the style and its culture
Week 2 – Top Rock and Get Downs: Find your groove standing up and learn how to transition smoothly down to the floor
Week 3 – Footwork: Develop coordination, rhythm, and control with beginner-friendly footwork patterns
Week 4 – Freeze: Learn how to hit and hold simple freezes, building strength and confidence
Week 5 – Power Moves: Be introduced to the basics of power moves in an accessible, supportive way—no pressure, just progress
Week 6 – Making a throwdown / understanding training: Bring everything together by creating your own short sequence and learn how to practice effectively beyond the course

This course will be held in studio 5. Please make your way straight to Mill 6 on arrival.
Studio 5 is located in Mill 6, first floor, left of reception and around through the toilet area.
