The class will be fun, energetic and will respond to the positive vibes of Afrobeat music.

We are inspired by different dance styles and music from across Africa, and class will consist of
learning technique, grooves and choreography. We also look to showcase how movement has
changed throughout generations and the expansion of the African diaspora.

Tutor Bio Jemma Mae: I am a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer, based in Leeds with over 10 years of experience. I specialise in Afro Fusion, Hip Hop and Contemporary dance. I teach regularly in the community and choreograph and perform for music artists from the UK and further afield. I am heavily influenced by rhythm and patterns and my choreography is usually lead by the music I use. Beth Faith: I am from London, and I have been dancing for the past 4 years, training intensively in the style of Afro Fusion, I often do video shoots, performances and have now been teaching in the style too. My classes are all about advancing and creating your own personal expressions and definitions through the art of movement.
