Suitable for those who have a good grounding of ballet technique and would like to work at a slightly faster pace and amalgamating steps into sequences both at the barre and centre.

We also have new DSL Ballet Beginners + class for those who are looking to work at a slower pace.

Ballet is a great way to keep fit and tone your body, whilst also strengthening and increasing muscle flexibility.

This class can be booked with a 4 week class pass at the discounted price of £30 (expiry of 6 weeks), or at £8 per class for a single session.

We are looking forward to holding our 4th ‘Celebration of Dance’ showcase in aid of Martin House Children’s Hospice, and would love for you to be involved! Everyone is very welcome!

When: Saturday 19th November (matinee and evening performances)
Where: Leeds City College, Quarry Hill

In order to focus on show choreography, we will be running a 7 week performance course, in place of the weekly classes, from w/c 3rd Oct – 14th Nov, for those wishing to take part in the show. We please ask for you to be able to commit for the 7 weeks if wanting to take part.

Please Note – The structure of the class will change during this time and will be predominately focused on show choreography. Please only attend if you are happy with this.

Tutor Bio Anna grew up in Barcelona where her dance training began at Institut del Teatre professional conservatoire, studying Classical and Contemporary Dance. She moved to Leeds to continue her dance training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, graduating with a First Class Degree.  Together with Charlotte Arnold, Anna co-directs the dance theatre duo ACCA and co-edits the online publication Artychoke Zine. In parallel to her performance commitments, she has been developing a solid teaching practice and has facilitated sessions for TripSpace, ProDanceLeeds, NSCD and Leeds University Union amongst others. In addition to Ballet and Contemporary dance, Anna has recently gained her Pilates Mat Training; a technique that has proved very useful for her dance practice. Ballet has always been a central part of her training and she is very excited to be working with the students at DSL.
