Suitable for those who have previously studied Ballet (recommended Grade 3 /4 or above), with a good grasp of basics, who want to work at a faster pace and more intricate combinations. It is advised that you are familiar with steps such as, glissades, jetes, sissonnes, arabesque and attitude lines, pirouettes, balances, full plie in all positions.

Ballet is a great way to keep fit and tone your body, whilst also strengthening and increasing muscle flexibility.

This class can be booked individually at £9.50 or with either of our Class Passes:

  • 6 Class Pass – £48 (expiry of 10wks)

Studio 3 is located in Mill 3 which is on the right hand side as you enter the car park down the ramp.

Tutor Bio Anna grew up in Barcelona where her dance training began at Institut del Teatre conservatoire. Alongside performance, her interest in communication expanded into academia obtaining a degree in journalism at Ramón Llull University. She moved to Leeds  in 2013 and graduated from NSCD with a First Class Bachelors Degree with Honours. As a movement facilitator, Anna teaches ballet and contemporary techniques as well as dance-theatre to a wide range of ages and abilities. She currently works as a lecturer at Leeds Conservatoire and delivers sessions for NSCD, Northern Ballet Academy and The Dance Studio Leeds amongst others. Between 2020-2023, Anna was one of four directors of ProDanceLeeds, an artist led project running classes for independent dance professionals in the city. As a creator, she is particularly interested in collaborative and inter-disciplinary work, having devised projects with actors, musicians, filmmakers, composers and singers to name a few, and creating works in musical theatre, cabaret, opera and dance-theatre. Anna is co-director and performer with Leeds based dance theatre company ACCA since its creation in 2020.
