This 30 minute Body Conditioning class combines the principles of Pilates with Anna’s expertise in Movement as a professional dancer to give you an all over body workout beneficial for both your dance practice and daily life. Open to all levels this is a great way to tone, strengthen, and improve fitness, flexibility and mobility. Exercises can be taken at your own pace and level, and no prior experience of pilates or dance is required.

You may wish to bring a mat to use for some of the exercises but it is not essential.

This class is available with a 4 class pass at the discounted price of £15 (6 week expiry) or a single class price £4.50

This class is in studio 3. Please make your way straight to Mill 3 on arrival.

Studio 3 is located in Mill 3 which is on the right hand side as you enter the car park down the ramp.

Tutor Bio Anna grew up in Barcelona where her dance training began at Institut del Teatre professional conservatoire, studying Classical and Contemporary Dance. She moved to Leeds to continue her dance training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, graduating with a First Class Degree.  Together with Charlotte Arnold, Anna co-directs the dance theatre duo ACCA and co-edits the online publication Artychoke Zine. In parallel to her performance commitments, she has been developing a solid teaching practice and has facilitated sessions for TripSpace, ProDanceLeeds, NSCD and Leeds University Union amongst others. In addition to Ballet and Contemporary dance, Anna has recently gained her Pilates Mat Training; a technique that has proved very useful for her dance practice. Ballet has always been a central part of her training and she is very excited to be working with the students at DSL.
