This class is suitable for dancers with some prior experience with contemporary dance.

The class will start with contemporary technique to warm up the body –  working through roll downs, curves, plies, tendus, floor work and some travelling. The second half of the class will then explore more creative dance which may include learning a short routine, guided improvisation, introductory partnerwork and developing your own choreographic skills.

A super friendly, open space where all are welcome to come and join. Advanced dancers are also welcome to attend as progressions can be given to increase difficulty.

This class is not suitable for complete beginners to contemporary dance. If you’re looking for an Introduction to Contemporary Dance try our Tuesday Class.
