This class is suitable for dancers with some prior experience with contemporary dance, and will work through roll downs, curves, plies, tendus, floor work and travelling. Advanced dancers are also welcome to attend as progressions for each exercise can be given to increase difficulty.
Whilst giving you a great work out, the class will help you gain an understanding of the technique behind the movements, improve body awareness, co-ordination, and musicality.

Tutor Bio
I am a dance artist living in Leeds. My interest is in human interaction. In order to express this interest, I use movement as a medium. I’ve spent several years navigating between learning and self-discovery while being a freelancer. My most preferred work setup is when I facilitate movement for communities, or when I am involved in creative processes that involve working with communities. This is because it brings me closer to experiencing "the Joy of dance" in a less precious setting.
I’ve studied and trained in both Classical & Contemporary dance techniques for years in Europe and the UK. I draw from Improvisation, Floor work, Release techniques in my dance work and facilitation.
Currently, I am looking for inspiration in non-western traditional dance techniques, such as martial arts.
