Open Level Contemporary Workshop (DSL)
Ignite your movement in this Open Level Adult Contemporary class!
We kick off with an invigorating warm-up, designed to deeply engage and connect you to your body’s full potential.
Following the warm-up, we dive into dynamic, expansive phrase-work, challenging you to move with intention, explore your creative voice, and unleash your passion for dance.
This is an open, supportive space where you can move freely, connect with the music, and rediscover the joy of simply having a boogie together!

This Workshop can be booked individually at £10 or with either of our Class Passes:
- 6 Class Pass – £52 (expiry of 10 wks)
- 12 Class Pass – £98 (expiry of 16 wks)
This class is in studio 1. Please make your way straight to Mill 6 on arrival.
Studio 1 is located in Mill 6, 1st Floor, next to reception.

Tutor Bio
Shakeel Kimotho is a trained dance artist, performer and teacher, with training from the Urdang Academy, the Northern School of Contemporary Dance and holds a Master’s degree in Theatre and Performance. She has worked as a principal, swing, ensemble member, fight captain and dance captain, performing across the world in theatres, opera houses, outdoor venues, arenas and on screen. Credits include Animal Farm, Tip Toe (Channel 4), Cats (International Tour) and La Cage Aux Folles.
She teaches across studio, school, youth arts and higher education settings, as well as Reformer Pilates. Her classes are rooted in access, inclusivity and intention. Her teaching style is clear, encouraging and body-aware. Shakeel is passionate about helping people grow, trust themselves and feel both supported and challenged in the room - with a little wit thrown in when it is most needed.
