This class is suitable for dancers with some experience with contemporary dance, and will work through roll downs, curves, plies, tendus, floor work and travelling. Those with more experience also welcome to attend as progressions for each exercise can be given to increase difficulty.
Whilst giving you a great work out, the class will help you gain an understanding of the technique behind the movements, improve body awareness, co-ordination, and musicality. A great way to gain some prior knowledge to help you feed into the beginners level contemporary class.
Not suitable for complete beginners to contemporary dance.
