Tutor Bio My name is DHK Shortman, I’m originally from London but now I’m based in Bradford. I still teach between both regions from time to time. I’ve had over 20 years teaching experience (particularly dancehall). I’m considered a pioneer within the Jamaican dancehall scene from the early 2000’s til present. I’ve had multiple features in music videos and on stage performances with Artistes such as: Ding Dong, Elephant Man, Stylo G, Tarrus Riley, Alicai Harley, Alison Hinds, Patrice, Spice, Queen Omega, Bitty McLean, Lady Leshur, Chi Ching Ching, Shelly Belly, Razor B, Clean Bandit, Don Andre, Doktor, K-More just to name a few. I continue to teach regular dancehall classes and travel internationally to teach, judge, showcase and collaborate with other dance artists. The intention of this is to continue expanding my knowledge, expertise and bestow this upon others whilst leaving my legacy amongst current students and upcoming dancers of the new generation.
