Looking at more technical steps (such as wings, pick ups on one foot, maxi-ford, suzie Q etc) and rhythms into fun routines using a wide range of musical styles, from the traditional to the latest pop track. Mixed gender, adults of all ages. As a guide it is suitable for those who’ve previously studied tap to Grade 5 and above.

We are looking forward to holding our 4th ‘Celebration of Dance’ showcase in aid of Martin House Children’s Hospice, and would love for you to be involved! Everyone is very welcome!

When: Saturday 19th November (matinee and evening performances)
Where: Leeds City College, Quarry Hill

In order to focus on show choreography, we will be running a 7 week performance course, in place of the weekly classes, from w/c 19th Sept – 14th Nov, for those wishing to take part in the show only (1st & 15th Nov – students own practice sessions). We please ask for you to be able to commit for the 7 weeks if wanting to take part.

Tutor Bio Originally from Australia, Amelia has been dancing her entire life and has trained in virtually every style incl. ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary dance, lyrical and musical theatre. Amelia trained professionally at New Zealand School of Dance, the Southern Hemisphere’s leading dance institution, majoring in contemporary dance. Since moving to the UK in 2016, she has been working as a freelance professional dance artist with various dance companies and choreographers all over the UK. Amelia is also a freelance teacher and has a passion for sharing her knowledge and experience in various dance styles to all ages and abilities.
