Join Amelia for a 5 week Beginners Tap refresher course!

Suitable for those who have done tap to a basic level previously, whether that be a few years ago or as a child, or you have joined us recently for our Tap fundamentals course! This 5 week course is the perfect way to recap some of the basic steps to give you confidence before joining us in our weekly Beginners/Improvers Class (Tuesdays at 7.25pm).

Don’t worry if you don’t have any tap shoes. We have a few pairs you are welcome to borrow (please drop us an email on info@thedancestudioleeds.com if you would like us to check we have your size) or smooth soled, non-grippy shoes will also be fine.

Studio 2 is located in Mill 6, 1st Floor, near reception.

Tutor Bio Originally from Australia, Amelia has been dancing her entire life and has trained in virtually every style incl. ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary dance, lyrical and musical theatre. Amelia trained professionally at New Zealand School of Dance, the Southern Hemisphere’s leading dance institution, majoring in contemporary dance. Since moving to the UK in 2016, she has been working as a freelance professional dance artist with various dance companies and choreographers all over the UK. Amelia is also a freelance teacher and has a passion for sharing her knowledge and experience in various dance styles to all ages and abilities.
