We’re excited to announce that we have two film and workshop events taking place here at The Dance Studio Leeds as part of Scalarama festival. First we have one of our all time favourite dance films – Centre Stage, with a dance workshop to iconic song, Higher Ground. Then to kick off Wrap UK’s Recycling week (23-29 September 2019), we have a family friendly day full of Ecobricks, a movement workshop and finishing with a screening of Wall-E.
CENTRE STAGE DANCE CLASS AND FILM SCREENING
An all inclusive levels dance class themed around the iconic ‘Higher Ground’ film scene in Center Stage. Why not book alongside our film screening and receive a £2 discount to the dance class and make a night of it.
Dance Class £7 on it’s own or £5 if booked alongside the film screening that will be shown directly after at 7.50pm.

ECOBRICKS, FILM AND MOVEMENT WORKSHOP
10.45am – 12pm Creative Dance Movement Class
(suitable for all ages and family members from 0-90 yrs + and all abilities including complete beginners). Pre booking required.As part of our quest to tackle plastic pollution, we ask that you bring a reusable water bottle with you and use our tap facilities to keep hydrated or use the cups provided. You can participate in bare feet or in trainers and make sure you’re wearing something comfortable.
12.00pm – 1.30pm Drop in Ecobricks Craft Session.
If you’re attending the EcoBricks workshop then start saving your rubbish now!. We’ll supply the bottles and sticks but ask that you bring a plastic bag of clean non biodegradable rubbish such as plastic bags, cellophane and food packaging along with you so we can show you how to compress all that household rubbish!
1.30 – 3.15pm Wall-E Film Screening(doors 1pm) Pre booking required.
There will be refreshments and snacks sold throughout the screening and as a family friendly venue we also have a separate kitchen area where new mums are welcome to breastfeed if they’d like somewhere quiet and you are welcome to come and go throughout if your children need a break.
