Here’s a few moments from 2016 we wanted to share with you!

2016 has been a mammoth year here at The Dance Studio Leeds. We’ve raised money for three different charities: St Gemma’s Hospice, Yorkshire Cancer Research and BBC’s Children in Need. We’ve opened a lovely new studio which inevitably meant brand new classes and teachers to welcome to the DSL family.

We’ve also had an incredible range of people using the studios to rehearse, including Mariah Carey’s dancers, Strictly’s Ed Balls and most recently the cast of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs preparing for The White Rose Theatre’s Christmas panto!

We hope you all have a wonderful and restful winter break and hope to see you in the new year. So, here’s to 2016 and what 2017 may bring!

Flash back to March when we had Mariah Carey’s dancers here at the studio rehearsing.

A Celebration of Dance 2 for Yorkshire Cancer Research in October at The Carriageworks Theatre.

Tapathon 2016 for BBC’s Children in Need.

A little visit from Strictly’s Ed Balls and Katya and The cast of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs at The White Rose Theatre

And the addition of our beautiful studio three at the end of the summer!

And finally, all the wonderful hen parties, team building workshops and wedding dances we’ve taught this year. As well as our staff outings, educational work and everything in between! We’ve been super busy and we’re thankful for everyone who has spent it with us this year!

See you in the new year!!
