The purpose of the Teacher Feature? To get to know the lovely people who teach our weekly classes a little bit better!

Miranda Wells

Classes Miranda teaches:
  • Pilates – Wednesdays 7:30pm – 8:30pm

What’s your dance background?

I started dance classes when I was about 6yrs old, and I have been moving since I was born! I trained in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Contemporary and Ballroom and Latin. I trained at The Waltons School of Dance, Yorkshire Dance, with Enhance The Dance Company, and did my degree in Dance at University College Scarborough.

What’s your favourite style?

I love Ballet and Ballroom equally for their grace, elegance and technical discipline.

If you weren’t a dancer what would you be?

What I am doing now! I’ve always loved health and fitness as much as dance, so as well a teaching dance I am a Fitness Trainer, Health Coach and Pilates Teacher. If I wasn’t doing either of these I would be a nurse. I love helping people to improve their health and well-being!
