Do you ever get to 11.30am and feel like you need a good stretch and to release some shoulder and neck tension?

Feel like you’ve been sat at the desk in back to back calls and meetings and you really just need to MOVE?

If you’re like me I easily get stiff and cramped up sitting at the desk and laptop for hours on end. I can feel the tension across my back and neck and love nothing more than to take a break and stretch it all out with a quick boogie! And so we thought why not get everyone else dancing with us!

Over the next few weeks we will be introducing our new lunchtime boogies 💃đŸ•ē – simple, short, easy to follow dance moves and sequences to iconic and feel good tunes to slip into your day.

But I don’t have enough space I hear you say?? Don’t worry these are specifically tailored to be danced in small spaces if that’s all you have available. As long as you can do a few steps in each direction that’s all you need.

My day is jam packed, I just don’t have the time!! Also not a problem as these dances are only made up of a few simple moves that you can repeat throughout the whole music track giving you a mood and body boost in approximately 5 mins!

I can’t play the music in my office or at home as it will disturb others. Not to worry, grab those headphones and ear pods and dance it silent disco style! 🎧

 

So how’s it work?

🕚 Each Monday morning we will post a new video on our social channels with the moves broken down for you to follow.

đŸŽĨ If you need you can watch and rewind as many times as you like but within a few mins you will have mastered the sequence!

đŸŊ If you can’t do it there and then, save it for your lunch break later.

đŸĒŠ This becomes the track and dance of the week which you can simply press play on each day when you need to give your body a chance to dance.

It’s not about being foot perfect so don’t worry if you go wrong. Just use the moves as a guide and incorporate them how you feel best. Add some freestyle, improvise the arms, throw in some of your best shapes! You’re up and moving, that’s all that matters 🙌

Once you start you might inspire the whole office floor to dance with you! It might even be in your company staff handbooks to take regular screen breaks by changing your work activities, so whilst the kettle is brewing here’s your perfect solution! â˜•ī¸
