Please note – DSL class passes and single classes are valid for classes labelled ‘DSL’ only (DSL Ballet Level 1, DSL Ballet Level 2, DSL Ballet Fitness, DSL Inter/Adv Tap, DSL Improvers Tap & DSL Street Dance)
We will not accept any expired class passes (see below for expiry dates) Please note – Bank and Public Holidays will not be included within this time period
Single Class Pass – Valid for 4 weeks after purchase
6 Class Pass – Valid for 16 weeks (from date of first registration)
12 Class Pass – Valid for 24 weeks (from date of first registration)
Please note – DSL classes will not be running on Bank or Public Holidays
All payments for DSL Classes and Courses, Online Dance Classes, Gift Vouchers and Dance Experiences are non-refundable and non-transferable at point of sale
We reserve the right to cancel any class or course as deemed necessary and will issue an appropriate reimbursement with proof of purchase provided
We are not liable for any missed classes due to personal reasons, weather conditions, travel issues etc and we are unable to make up for lost classes or offer refunds
Please retain proof of purchase via email receipt
Please ensure the class is an appropriate level for you before booking – please contact us beforehand for any advice
We ask you to inform us of any injuries or medical conditions in advance of purchasing any course or class pass
If you are under the age recommendation advertised for the class, please contact us before purchase to be advised on the suitability of the class
DSL reserve the right to provide a substitute teacher at any time
We reserve the right to check proof of student eligibility at any point, please bring valid student ID to classes at all times
Will we endeavor to inform you at the earliest possibility of any cancellations or alterations of class, please ensure that you provide us with appropriate, up to date contact details.
If you are over 15 minutes late to class, we may have to refuse you entry in order to protect you against injury due to insufficient time to warm up correctly
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit enough to take part in the class and to inform the instructor beforehand of any limitations you may have. If you have any health concerns please seek advice from your doctor before attending
Please inform us immediately if you sustain an injury or feel unwell during the class
Dance is a physical activity and as such you should understand there is the possibility of physical injury when participating in exercise. If you choose to engage in any classes or activities provided by The Dance Studio Leeds, you agree that you do so at your own risk, and are voluntarily participating in these activities.
The Dance Studio Leeds accepts no liability for physical injury, loss or damage to the person whether occasioned by negligence or howsoever arising.
We expect all participants to behave respectively towards other participants, teachers and staff and we reserve the right to ask you to leave the class should you act untoward
We ask all participants to only bring water into the studios. No chewing gum or food is permitted
Please wear comfortable clothing, you are able to move freely in. Advice on footwear and clothing can be provided. No denim is permitted
Please participate in online classes responsibly and safely. You are responsible for your own health and we ask that you do not exercise beyond what you consider to be your own capabilities.
If you have any medical conditions which might affect you being able to exercise safely, please seek advice from a medical professional before engaging in that activity.

You must create a safe area to undertake dance or fitness videos and live classes. You must make sure that the area you are about to use is suitable for for the type of dance or exercise that is contained in the video (whether pre-recorded or live) that you are about to watch. The area must be a flat surface, be clear of obstruction (such as tables, rugs, pets) and large enough for the activity you are about to take part in.
By purchasing a pre recorded or live online class you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the above statements.
You reserve the right to opt out of being filmed or photographed for any publicity within the class. Please inform us beforehand if you do not wish to filmed/photographed
