Thank You!

We set ourselves a target to raise £2,000 for St. Gemma’s Hospice at the start of 2019, so we are overwhelmed that we massively surpassed it – raising a grand total of £3,450.58. It’s been 10 wonderful years of The Dance Studio Leeds and the success of our anniversary show has capped off a wonderful decade, so a HUGE THANK YOU goes to everyone who donated their pennies, performed in our 10 Year Show and supported our fundraising, without whom it would not be possible to raise this much money for a very worthy charity.

Our 10 Year Anniversary Show: A Celebration of Dance 3 saw over 150 community and professional performers come together at the new Leeds City College building on Quarry Hill. 24 different dances, with styles such as Ballet, Bellydancing, Bhangra, Commercial, Cuban Salsa, Jazz, Tap and Urban Cheer aptly demonstrates the depth and range of dance that occurs at The Dance Studio Leeds, and we’re continually grateful to be able to provide a vibrant array of dance genres at the studios. 

It’s a new year, but we’re still riding the high of our 10 Year Show, so we’re proud to be partnering with St. Gemma’s Hospice in 2020 for their Strictly St. Gemma’s event. You can find out more about the event and how to get involved here!
