We are extremely excited to announce The Dance Studio Leeds has been named as one of the Nation’s Favourite Businesses by the Small Business Saturday campaign, as it kicks off its annual call to champion and support the nation’s favourite small businesses.
Following a nationwide search, The Dance Studio Leeds has been selected as part of this year’s Nation’s Favourite Business line-up, in a shake up from the campaign’s long-standing SmallBiz100.
The Nation’s Favourite Businesses campaign will showcase each business as part of the official countdown to Small Business Saturday on 5 December – a grassroots non-commercial campaign, originally founded by American Express in the U.S. in 2010, and the principal supporter in the UK, aimed at celebrating and uplifting independent firms by encouraging the public to support and spend with small businesses.
We are really grateful and honoured to be selected and to be given this opportunity to be part of the campaign. It’s a real boost for the whole team for our hard work to be recognised as we continue to champion dance and movement for our mental and physical health and wellbeing.
Earlier this year Katie Geddes, our studio founder, was also named as one of the UK’s leading female founders from across the country as part of Small Business Britain’s f:Entrepreneur #IAlso100 campaign 2026.
A huge thank you to all our teachers, students, cheer leaders and supporters who have helped us build our wonderful dance community over the last 17 years! We are so grateful for your continued support!
Small businesses have always been, and will continue to be, among the nation’s favourite businesses. Whether on our high streets, online or embedded in local communities, they play a vital role in the places we live and in the strength of our economy
