We offer a welcoming, relaxed environment and professional, friendly service, whether you’re a complete beginner, professional dancer, hen party goer or corporate client. Conveniently located just a 10 minute walk from Leeds city centre in a converted textile mill, we are easily accessible and provide the perfect backdrop for activities ranging from tap-dancing to photography, with all the facilities you need to feel at home.
Our team is headed up by founder Katie who is a trained professional dancer and teacher. Since opening in 2009, we’ve welcomed to the studios a wide variety of dance styles from belly dancing to break dancing, opened our doors to people of all abilities, and welcomed clients from the BBC, West End Theatre companies, local businesses, party planners and wedding couples, who have used the space for a wide range of activities. Katie and her team of top class freelance dance teachers also take the benefits of dance out to schools, colleges, universities, businesses and organisations.
Find out why we are so passionate about dance, why the studio was formed and the inspiration behind the studios 🙂
I am extremely passionate about dance and the many benefits it can provide both physically and mentally. Not only is it a fun way to exercise, meet new people, and tone the body, it is also a fantastic way to increase confidence, boost your immune system and release any day to day stress.
We pride ourselves on offering a friendly, inclusive, supportive safe space for learning and helping you to achieve your goals. My mission is to empower and encourage everyone to dance and share the joy, energy and laughter that it provides.
I’m a firm believer anyone can dance and it’s never too late to start so whether you are treading the boards for the first time at 70 years of age or you’ve danced since you were young you are very welcome to our studios.
