Tutor Bio
I am a dance artist living in Leeds. My interest is in human interaction. In order to express this interest, I use movement as a medium. I’ve spent several years navigating between learning and self-discovery while being a freelancer. My most preferred work setup is when I facilitate movement for communities, or when I am involved in creative processes that involve working with communities. This is because it brings me closer to experiencing "the Joy of dance" in a less precious setting.
I’ve studied and trained in both Classical & Contemporary dance techniques for years in Europe and the UK. I draw from Improvisation, Floor work, Release techniques in my dance work and facilitation. Currently, I am looking for inspiration in non-western traditional dance techniques, such as martial arts.
