When did you start dancing?
I always loved dressing up and dancing in clubs and parties but never had any dance training. I am a self taught pole dancer and later on discovered sexy floor work, heel work, twerk and Russian style pole, now I combine all of the above with burlesque elements.
What is your favourite style of dance and why?
My favourite style is unapologetic, aggressive and sultry heel based choreo, either with or without a pole, because I can embody a part of myself that makes me feel powerful and alive and authentic.
Who inspires you to dance and why?
So many people inspire me with performance and anything glittery and completely over the top I love. Dita Von Teese shows in London, Cleopantha, the gorgeous Kitty Velour, Pole kitten, Beyonce, Cardi B etc. But it’s the support and constant encouragement both in class and in between of the beautiful and forever inspiring Aurora Nova who has really pushed me out of my comfort zone, and got the best from me with my burlesque performances and choreo. And for this I am forever grateful.
